Accessibility
We want a parent to be able to buy this course and use the lessons whatever device or assistive technology they use. This page says where we stand and what we know is not yet good enough.

The standard we aim at
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 at level AA, which is the standard the European Accessibility Act points to for e-commerce services.
What already works
- Text resizes to 200 per cent without losing content or function.
- Every page works from the keyboard alone, in a sensible order.
- Headings, lists and form labels are marked up properly, so a screen reader announces them.
- Every form field has a visible label, not just a placeholder.
- Images that carry meaning have a text alternative; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
- The lesson area works without the animation library and without a mouse.
- The site works at 320 pixels wide without horizontal scrolling.
What we know is not good enough yet
- Some entrance animations move a lot of content. We honour the operating system setting for reduced motion where the template allows it, but not everywhere yet.
- The video on the home page has no captions or transcript. Course videos will ship with captions.
- A few colour pairs in the template sit close to the 4.5 to 1 contrast minimum and are being adjusted.
- The programmes carousel can be operated by keyboard but does not yet announce the change of slide.
